Sanur Beach, Bali is bursting with outstanding places to eat however, The Village – Cucina Italiana was definitely my favorite non-Balinese dining selection here. After a sunset walk along the beachfront, we sauntered through the oh so serene grounds of Griya Santrian Resort to reach, The Village – Cucina Italiana. By Balinese standards, this place is up-market – casual, with modern lounges, starched white tablecloths and candle lit tables ensuring the atmosphere remains quite romantic while being delightfully child friendly. Strange but true. The food here is strictly Italian – with no hint of Balinese fusion, so don’t expect any Gado Gado to feature on the menu.
