Villa Layout
Inspired by traditional Balinese living, Villa Cemara comprises five alang-alang thatched pavilions, all carefully oriented for stellar ocean views. Beyond the traditional teakwood entrance doors is the open-sided living pavilion along the beachfront and, across a koi pond to the rear, the villa kitchen. Next along the villa’s 60 meters of absolute beachfront is the 10-meter pool, then the master pavilion and raised corner balé. Overlooking the pool and sea are two two-story bedroom pavilions, each with two guest suites. A gate between the living pavilion and pool gives direct access to the promenade and beach.
Luxurious Bedrooms
Master Pavilion
The master suite, Heliconia, occupies a standalone alang-alang thatched pavilion adjacent to the beach. It features a king-size bed, antique furniture, Indonesian art, a living area with a large daybed, and a 42-inch TV. The air-conditioned bathroom includes a terrazzo twin vanity, a garden courtyard with a jacuzzi, a river-stone wall carved with fish, and an alfresco shower.
Guest Suites
The four guest bedroom suites are housed in two two-story alang-alang thatched pavilions facing the ocean across the pool. All feature king-size beds (two convertible to twins), colonial-style furniture, artefacts, walk-through wardrobes, air-conditioning, and ceiling fans. The downstairs rooms have 42-inch TVs and DVD players, with garden terraces accessible through carved Balinese doors. The upper-level suites feature vaulted ceilings and sweeping sea views.
Indoor Living
The huge open-sided living pavilion by the pool offers spectacular ocean vistas and is the villa’s social hub. It includes contemporary armchairs, a large sofa, a traditional Indonesian daybed, and a marble-topped antique dining table seating 10. The living pavilion leads to the villa’s kitchen, equipped with everything from a coffee maker to a commercial stove.

Sun worshipers can lounge on the pool-side decks after a refreshing dip in the Bali green-stone pool. Those seeking shade can relax in the alang-alang thatched balé above a waterfall-filled rock pool overlooking the beach.
